Pebble Epoxy floors not only provide a smooth cohesive finish, but also allows water to pass through and escape so it does not build up on the surface. This floor is unique in the way that every square inch is hand troweled, ensuring that the surface is flat and free from loose rock. Pebble Epoxy flooring is best suited for, garages, pool decks, sidewalks, and driveways; but has also been applied in homes as the main floor.
The Process
We start every project the same way, we walk your space together and identify areas that need to be addressed.
1. Prepare the surface
(Remedy cracks and ensure the surface is free from potential bond breakers; includes pressure washing.)
2. Install expansion joint breaks
(Expansion joint breaks are installed to honor the existing expansion joints and provide a luxurious finish to your new Pebble Epoxy floor.)
3. Trowel the rock
(This is the fun part! This is where you get to see all of the hard work come together and the first look at your brand new floor, before applying the top coat. Every square inch of the floor is hand troweled by our team of professionals to give you a flat surface.)
4. Top coat
(The top coat is the protective layer that will also give your floor the shine it deserves; at this step you can have an additional slip resistant layer added.)
5. Walk with client
(Now that your floor is set and ready to be walked, we will walk the space with you to answer any questions you may have and go over proper cleaning techniques.)
